Our Story

Jacob's Harvest is a nonprofit to eradicate food deserts all across the world, starting with the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. As food inaccessibility increases, residents are relying more on fast foods and convenient stores for their nutrition needs. As a result, our communities are at a higher risk of health problems such as low blood pressure, diabetes, cardiovascular issues, etc.. Join us in combating food deserts by donating or volunteering to serve families in need.

Jacob's Harvest was created to give back to underserved communities, specifically those residing in food deserts, where grocery stores and transportation are scarce.  Food deserts are described by the USDA as low-income areas where residents don’t have access to fresh and affordable food. Jacob's Harvest is a nonprofit aimed at eradicating food deserts through advocacy, education, and resources. We provide free chef-driven meal kits and offer free virtual cooking classes. Additionally, we also host monthly cooking classes focused around healthy and fun meals.

Our produce is sourced from local farmers, and warehouses, and distributed monthly to the community.
